I never said nobody has the equipment. I'm voiceing concern over the fact that run-flat tires are new technology that require expensive specialized equipment to change them and tire stores will only spend the money on this equipment if there's enough volume to make money on the investment therefore it's an issue. I'm only stating facts, if I'm wrong show me where. I think if you live in a pretty populated area you'll find places with the equipment. If run-flats become popular with more car companies it won't be an issue.

I have no idea, I am just raising a question.

If BMW does not have a mechanism in place via their dealers, they have screwed up big time.

btw- I just called 4 tire dealers in my phone book that listed Michellin.
2 have the equipment, 2 did not

Right on! You don't want to change the tire on highway and risk your life. Several have had serious accidents and some died changing tire on highway.
