I understand the HD quality might not make a difference on the 7" screen but I would just be annoyed in buying the DVD and Blu-ray for any movie or show, or even worse, buying the DVD only when I have a great Blu-Ray HD TV system at home.

Again, once an automotive grade Blu-Ray DVD Player appears, I am more than sure we will offer it! Thanks!

Just an FYI, keep in mind that both Vizualogic AND Invision systems are OEM (and not aftermarket) as they both can be purchased at a BMW dealer and installed by a BMW dealer with the appropriate warranty, support, etc. Anything else would by definition be aftermarket.

I may have missed the discussion... but any chance in the future of an offering similar to that of the new 7 series where it looks much more integrated into the seat? Was wondering if the styles are going to change every year, etc.

It seems much less obtrusive and I think that's important when considering capacity & enter/exit issues with all the gear we have to haul as a family.

Tisn't too much you can do except go with the OEM BMW Dual DVD system that I manufacture for BMW. This is the absolutely safest and best product for your vehicle, as it is fully covered by your BMW warranty for 4 yr/ 50K and has the absolute most features, DVD/ DVD-R capability / USB input that supports Dvix, avi, and mpeg-4 file formats and has a LED backlit screen. If you have any additional questions please let me know.

THese are available at every BMW Dealer in the US. I have BMW part Numbers as well.

^ you were quick on that one - too quick for my edit. On a 2nd look, it still protrudes out a bit but still not as large and I like the integration and how it's tucked in with no chance of knocking it around on entry/exit. Was wondering if you guys change designs every year (pic of 7 added)? Also, what is meant by USB input that supports divx, etc.? I suppose I can't burn a divx file onto a DVD and have it play that off the disc? Not sure how USB comes into play. Did you mean divx files on USB flash drives only?

The system actually has a USB input and RCA input on both screens so you can interface a hard drive, or flash drive, iPod Video, PMP, or jumpstick and copy files to these products and it will play directly off the harddrives as well as play dvd/dvd-r/dvdrw/ etc. The system is preloaded with codecs for Dvix, avi, and Mpeg-4.

This product (SL) is the newest product offering by INViSiON and it will be the same looking and performing product until a new model is released. I have no new news on new models at this time. IF you would like an owner's manual on this BMW Product please email me at [email protected]... Thanks!

I have seen this product, However, I am not sure who manufactures it. We currently manufacture the 7 series DVD Headrest replacement for BMW, but this is new and I am not familiar with this pictured product. Question for the guys at the BMW NAC next month! Im excited because I love new product offerings.
