Anyways, I want to trade the car in cuz of the luggage space. I need to carry 4 golf bags and 4 people without golfbags being seen from outside..

i see, did you think about tinting the back windows so it wont be as easy for people to see in?

Forget that...go to a smaller market. Do yourself a favor, call Pat Fraser at Bavaria BMW in Edmonton. 1-780-484-0000. Talk to him about a trade. I was given $2500 off of my X5 3.0si. $10K off a car with 1km is retarded. Threre is absolutely no wear and tear on that vehicle.

Often when you purchase a new car, they come with a variable number of km on them. I went to purchase a M3 in Calgary, and it had 130km on the odometer...for a new car? I don't think so. I have never heard of someone taking delivery on a car with so few km. If they are telling you that your car has already depreciated that much, they're retarded. Is this Jessel?

And trust me on calling Pat. Even if you were to truck the X3 in to Edmonton, you could already be up $500 on your trade, not to mention the difference that could be had on your trade. Then catch a cheap flight to Oil country (although now a temporary Canucks fun - somebody run Turco in the net already!!!) one way, and enjoy a very nice drive home.

Just don't do it @ BMW Gallery in Calgary. I ordered my car there and those guys are as arogant as you stealer that wants to rob you of $10K.

Go Flames, Go.

Agreed with Calgary BMW...they first tried to sell me a damaged M3 at one location without full disclosure and then second time their sister company BMW Gallery considered the M3 with 135km on it to be "new."

 :ninja:

haha, that sounds pretty :ghetto:
try selling personally, or call around. Did you really pay list though? They can't give them away (fig.) here...

Yeah tinting the back windows is exactly what I am thinking lol..

And it's 1k km not 1km, .. It had 36km when I first got it. 130km on that 'new' M3 sounds weird tho..

Oh, and selling privately is out of question since I'll save more money by just trading-in with that depreciation because of the crazy tax rate in BC.

I second calling Pat, and if you are dealing with BJ BMW, run, don't walk, away. They're thieves.

tnxgiv 04-21-2007 04:22 AM

someone had to take the honour huh? yeah i'll post pix on x3 board lol

well yeah i was thru bj bmw, and i knew they were another stealership the moment they quoted my 2002 MB sports coupe with 37000km for 10k :p .. i like their service tho... oh well :(
