Options on 08's

Hi All,

I'm trying to get an idea on what options will be in the 08's. Based upon the other BMW's can we expect

Night Vision
Lane Change warning
Update Nav
what else

Thanks'

John

possibly brake regeneration, or what ever they call it. '08 5 Series and 3 Series are getting it.

I think the following things are going to happen sometime in the future, just don't know if all will be in 08
1.maybe a more efficient x-drive like the new 5 series.
2. direct fuel injection for 3.0L I6 engine
3. twin turble I6 like the 335i, and 535i
4. 3.0 I6 diesel
5. power rear door
6. electronics power steeling wheel (replace the hydrolic one)
7. sport transmission (like the new 5 series)
8. maybe new color choice for X5

release time

Hi, newbie here.

Any ideas when '08s would be go into production???

Thanks in advance

I think MY 08s are available Sept.

My idea would be software upgrades via free downloads. No more 8 hr jaunts to the stealer, and hoping they don't have to start over.

Does anyone see a new improved Nav in 08?

no, probably not.

They just updated the navi twice in the last 6 months. I highly doubt they would make an improvement.
