The engine is not a 3.5 it's a 3.0 turbo. It's a very torque loaded motor, I only have a few hundred miles on my 335 and it's a joy to drive every day. A better match would be a turbo diesel for the US, but I'd take that 3.0 Turbo anyday in the X5. We plan to get a new one in 08 so I will be watching this.
