I must admit..
The exterior of the E70 is growing on me. While sitting in traffic yesterday on the good 'ol Long Island Distressway along side me was a small caravan of the Susan G Komen cars, an E70, 650i and a 335 vert. So, there's an E70 to my left and an E53 to my right. I can see the evolution......
Too bad cars aren't like shoes. When I can't decide I just buy both. Glad I still have 7 months. |
L,
It should become more clear, decison-wise, the closer you get. Hey, you lucky 3 yr owners get a new ride regularly! BR,mD PS: Gee, I miss the Big LIE, ;>) |

The Cayenne is growing on me too.... the base Cayenne is now 290hp and the list of standard features is pretty good. Jury still out on reliability.

Laura, I know what you mean. I was at my friend's house yesterday admiring her brand new E70 4.4i, kind of make mine feel a little old :(

The facelifted Cayenne doesn't look any better. The E70 (no offense) still looks too big. I still prefer the looks of the E53.
It's wierd, I thought I would "get used" to the Bangle-era BMW styling. Whenever a new model came out, I would say "well it's fugly now but maybe it'll grow on me". Fast forward to today: the 3 sedan is still bad, the 5 still looks mediocre (facelift helped). The only ones that I have accepted are the facelifted 7-series, 6-series, and the Z4. No doubt in my mind that 2001 was the best year for BMW in terms of styling. |
L...this one did it for me!!
