Um 80mph isn't fast at all. In fact, its the minimum speed for the left lane in California.

80mph+ I mean 80 mph and more.

I would hope that the e70 can do more than 80 b/c I know first hand that the e53 is extremely smooth in speeds excess of 140 mph

It should be fairly stable at speeds up to the 130mph speed limiter. Gusty crosswinds may affect high speed stability of any vehicle, and given the X5's fairly good aerodynamics and 5000lb mass, it's perfectly fine to go as fast as you wish.

*Always obey posted speed limits and regulations. Always wear a seat belt. It is the driver's sole responsibility to decide an appropriate vehicle speed depending on traffic and environmental conditions.

I was driving around 95mph and The car seems to pull more as I go faster.
Is it normal?

I would not drive on a windy day over 40 mph, unless its the first tuesday in the month. The only exception is today, if its windy you can driver over 80 to get your iPhone.
