sounds great :thumbup: . Must be the control unit responsible for the SOS Call, BMW Assist and BMW Online. This unit does not allow a firmware upgrade
and has to be exchanged (according to my dealer). That is the thing they had to change in my X5 also.

Sounds if they are telling you a pile of rubbish. You should just have to pay your £300 PA subscription and you'll be good to go. The application for BMW Online is just an additional tickbox on the same form which contains the info for BMW Assist. BTW, I thought the Assist fee was £60 PA?
