What Mode is your Transmission

I was wondering where you set your transmission most of the time

WhiteWhip 08-10-2007 06:25 PM

i usually keep it in normal unless i need the extra power for certain maneuvers ie....impressing friends

AzNMpower32 08-10-2007 06:48 PM

I strive to drive as efficiently and smoothly as possible most of the time. Hence, I'm rarely the fastest one off the line at a stoplight. No revs above 2500rpm unless traffic circumstance calls for it.

Of course, if I feel like hitting the backroads enthusaistically, transmission mode will also change :)

I'm the only one who uses manual so far?

If you want 'manual' get a clutch :)

I can't tell much difference in the sport and non-sport on the trans.

Oh boy, I can, it's like a different car!! But I keep it in drive mostly as when I set it to sport drive I noticed the fuel disappeared much quicker!!

Part of why I can't tell is I've been babying it due to the 1200 mile break in restriction.. as such, I've not "taught" the transmission to drive aggressively and take advantage of the rapid up/down shifts..

I only change to sport when I need to keep the revs up in a series of corners or when I'm racing soemone:driver: . Other than that, I don't feel any change of power either:dunno:
