it's the middle of August and we don't have 2008 model info yet??? what's going on??
can't someone get this information? maybe i should start offering a prize for the first to post the info!

I thought the X5 model year started in Oct/Nov, at least thats when the MY07 was released.

I've been harrassing my rep for days now... still waiting to close the deal on the 08!
as soon as you hear anything... let us know! so far I'm told they will honor the same price as a comparably equipped 07. Even if the price goes up a bit! And I have this in writing! In NY they seem to be a bit more flexible... many 07s with low miles left in the lot. Could be returns from earlier versions experiencing many of the issues reported here on the forum. Hopefully the 08s will have most of the bugs worked out... |
You will not hear anything till fall.

It's mostly the same.
The pricing for most of the models came out yesterday on Bimmerfest. The X3, 3-series, and 7-series have no price change. I expect the E70 X5 will be similar. 6-series has facelift and corresponding price increase.

I was told mid-Aug for pricing...which is when they will begin to officially take/process 08 orders...
should be any minute now!! |
What about the options? Will we get the diesel? And if so which one?
|
^ the million dollar question. I don't know about you, but I'm going to bed with the word 'turbo' on my mind.
It's pretty much confirmed the regular diesel is definitely coming though. The X3 has it already announced. |
I was told by a couple of dealers the twin turbo diesel should be available around March 08...
