Had this debate for a long time. But after receiving the car last weekend, I think the 3.0 has enough power. In Hong Kong, the road are very hilly and so far no problems. The engine has to work hard but it gets there. My previous baby mobile was the E38 750iL. That car didn't have to work getting up them hills but it was a V12. The 4.8 is a nice to have of course but as a baby mover, the 3.0 is just fine for me. Now, I'm spending the left over money on wheels and accessories...
