Dealer Tire and Wheel Protection Plan
 

Dealer is offering 3 yr tire and wheel plan for $500.00 and 5 yr for $700.

What do you guys think?

I believe the Michelin run flats come with a 2yr manufactures warranty so your basically paying $500 for one extra year.

Has anyone had any experience with either in getting a tire repaired/replaced?

I have never ben a fan of dealer extras but given the cost of these tires this doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Michelins come with Road Hazzard warranty.

Not worth the $ imo.

I did it, but that is because it covers the rim as well...not just the tire. No manf tire warranty will do that.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't even really thinking about the rims. Other than curb rash I've never lost a rim.

they tryed to push that crap on me when i told them from the begining im putting bigger rims and tires on

it supposedly covers aftermarket rims/tires as well

yes it covers any wheels/tires you put on the vehicle. But it only covers up to the cost of the oem wheel/tire. Which msrp on those are probably almost as much as my custom DPE's

It also doesn't cover rims damaged by hitting a curb.

Correct, it doesn't cover the driver being a tard :rofl:

maybe if the curb was in the middle of the road,lol
