My WM6 HTC Universal is not in the BMW list but it works flawlessly with my E70. If a phone is not in the list that means "not tested", not "not compatible".

As far as I know, the correct communication between the phone and the car through bluetooth is provided by SAP - SIM access protocol. Please make sure that your device supports this protocol, otherwise, the BT will not download your contacts into the car memory. My HTC s200 was not working under WM5 as BT hands-free, but after some upgrades it works smoothly with WM6 (SAP supported). Take a look at www.xda-developers.com.
Out of curiosity, I have not seen any cradles compatible with BMW or MB for communicators with mini-usb. It looks like some OEM producers are missing market opportunities  . Regards, Vadim. |
Thank you all !!
When trying to handshake the E70 with p3600i, the E70 ask for password which must be similar to the password in the P3600i The funny thing is that i have no password for my bluetooth in the p3600i (phone) Later i will try again and let you know I like the THC P3600I with Skype etc. |
