Mine is in the preparatioin center. My dealer said I will be able to pick it up this week, but I got no phone call from them yet....

Watch out, if you have an inexpirenced Sales guy, when they say on the computer released to VPC, that means the X5 is still in South Carolina. It is different for the cars that when it says released to VPC that means that the cars are at port and awaiting transportation.

So if your dealer says, "Oh its at the VPC, should be released to carrier soon", no its not.

My delaer told me last Saturday and he said my car is at VPC blah..blah..
And now my car was delivered this Friday!!!. I hope this info might help you estimate your delivery date.
