You can negotiate "out the door" price everthing included. Doesn't really matter how they write up the order as long as the bottom price is what you want to pay.

My X5 arrived today and went to the dealer to see it. She's a beauty.
space grey; tabacco with bamboo; tech; 3rd row; sport Y20's; premium
It has the new soft closing doors and rear seat heating included with the premium pkg.
I negotiated some more, This time I reasoned with the 1% reduction trigered by our GST and gave it to me. At this point I just can't wait to drive it and did not want to bother with the price issue. I will be happy with the SAV, Right?
So after all this, I got a total of 3718$cnd discount on invoice and got the 5.9 % finance on 80% balance.

I would like to thank everyone who gave there comments in this thread.
I will be picking it up tomorrow.

I am definitly joining the forum for other interest like customizing the beast.

You will simply love it. You'll find yourself going for a drive for no reason at all. Exploring - just to drive. Congratulations! Take some pictures as soon as you can!

So why is it that Canadians pay $20,000 more for a $70,000 car with US and CA dollar being equally valued?

Is the $3718 off including the $2500 rebate from BMW Canada? If so, then I think you could have done much better, if not, then you got a very good deal.

vgbyn 11-01-2007 01:16 PM

the discount I got was not including the rebate. the insentive I opted for was the 5.9% for 5 years which was originally at 8.0%

I see.
Enyoy your new SAV.
