IS ANYONE FOR WEEK 45 GETTING THERE X5 THIS WEEK?
 

I SHOULD FIND OUT TOMMORROW!!

I'm hoping to get my week 45 this week too. Production completed on Oct 31 so BMW has had plenty of time to get it to CT!

I am expecting delivery Tue or Wednesday.. Also depends if I will have time myself on ether of these days. If not by the weekend...
Production i believe is week 45 which is 2nd week of November (BMW is early)

I just called the 800 number. Seems my car has been on its way to the port of exit for a few days now. I'm in Hawaii so I'm still a few weeks off. Hopefully by the end of November. Best of luck with yours.

I was told it would be at the dealer's any day now with delivery to me by end of week depending on hitch istallation. When ordered I was told week 45 would be delivered by 11/29, so everything seems to be ahead of schedule. X5's not selling well now? Dealer has a # of '08's on the lot.

Want to know how to really piss off your BMW sales person?
 

My X5 status online changed to "At Your BMW Center" this morning!

I called my sales person to check on my truck status and told her what it said online. I was not pushy at all but she immediately jumped in and started attacking the online status and giving me a big story about how it's always wrong and that it probably means that it's just been put on the transporter in South Carolinn and how it sometimes gets delivered to the wrong dealer and etc. etc.

She agreed that she would look into it. If I wasn't so far along in the process, I would have straightened her out...

My guy just said sometime this week

"on the transporter in South Carolinn and how it sometimes gets delivered to the wrong dealer and etc. etc."

-> I'm sure this isn't the case...every vehicle has a manifest which is printed on the window sticker "Ship To: ...Sold To:...." I would have remarked, if you can't ship a vehicle properly, how do you build them properly?

My build was in week 45 and it just arrived at the dealer today! I should be able to pick it up tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest! Yipee!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

My dealer called me today, said that car has not arrived and expecting to have it in tomorrow for Wednesday or Thursday pickup....
Well, untill then, I am sad...:saad: Wanted it tomorrow.
