PLEASE HELP ME!

i just purchased an 08 4.8 fully loaded with sports package -

i am thwe worst when it comes down to cars, i just love the way this car looks and drives..

Do i have to break the car in? ( cuz i have not : ) its just to much fun )
what is the DS drive?
she is black, should i tint her?
is it ok to keep the car in sport mode at all times?
what is the average price on the factory aero kit? and is it worth it?
any heads up tips i should know about?

you guys are great! Thank you!!

- yes break the car in as per the manual.
- as I understand it, DS drive is like taking overdrive mode off (into sports transmission mode)
- sport mode button is suspension only as far as I know... use it for a stiffer ride and to also save on tires if you care
- aero kit cost me $2300 painted & installed but it depends on your dealership... they will try to make their profit here. I couldn't find it for cheaper installed so I said ok. One other wanted $3600 and another wanted $2800. It is 8 hours of labor and completely worth it to me. Cheapest (and riskiest) option is to buy the kit for cheaper from Morristown BMW (NJ) and have a local body shop paint and install.
- other tips: read the manual :D

i read the manual and then asked my dealer. he promised me the engine did not need breaking in. i am at 500 miles now, will i come across a problem in the future? and if so.. like what?

thank you very much. so am i looking at future problems? cuz i have been doing everything opposite. its a lease by the way,

> its a lease by the way,

If you are not planning to buy it when the lease is up, you will have no problems skipping the break-in. The break-in benefit is long life, e.g., after 100,000 miles. The next owner will pay for your lack of following break-in limits, not you.

The most likely early hour result of not breaking it in properly is increased oil consumption. You will know soon enough. It's called karma for thinking that you were only harming the lease company or future owner by not following the manufacturer's guidelines.

As others have said, Read the Manual.

the dealer told me i clearly did not have to break it in. due to the built of the new engine.
