Now I know the inner two lights are not for high beam or night time driving. This is very different from my experience. |
I had a look at mine last night. Now the big difference here is that I don't have Xenons on my car - they are optional in the UK - and in that case the inner light is used for the high-beam.

With halogens you get a high beam bulb.
With HID you get nothing. With HID and Active Lights you get the bulb for it. |
