Can't find cigarette light fuse!

For a 2007 4.8i, the front cigarette lighter and now the plug in the center console are out. I opened up the rear passenger side panel expecting to find and replace a burned out fuse. The schematic showing the fuses uses pictures only to show fuse locations and none resemble a cigarette lighter. Tested the fuses and found one out, a small 20 amp, and replaced it. Still not fixed. All other fuses OK. Took it to the dealer to ask them what's up. They could not figure it out either. They tested all fuses in same location and all tested good. I asked if there is another fusebox, they said there was in the glove box and then realized that was the 2006 and older versions only.

Anyone had this kind of problem? Is there another fuse box I'm not seeing?

Rear fuse box #111 is the lighter fuse. 20A. The other fuse box is under the passenger footwell.

Strange my front console cigarette lighter doesnt work either. I will look at the rear fuse box. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks a lot. Found the other fuse box-I don't see how some of those can even be changed-poor design! Glad to hear it's in the rear.

There is a small tab on the footwell box. I think you turn it and it will flip down. Still difficult to reach the ones near the firewall. Both mini and regular fuses in there. The schematic in the rear fuse box (legend) actually does show the footwell scematic. I think it is the lower diagram.

If this car is anything like my 530ixT and you plug in anything other than a cigarette lighter(especially a sirius radio) have a bunch of fuses on hand as they will blow fairly frequently. I'm told only the rear one is fused properly for these kinds of power-but I doubt that is true.

So I just checked 111 and I have no fuse there-I assume for an option I don't have. 113 is the one I found blown originally and it's blown again. I still don't understand why the center console plug is not working, it was until fooling with the fuses. The others grouped with 111 are 113, 115 and 118 and I only have 115 in addition to 113 and 115 was OK. I wish they at least had the descriptions of the fuses in german, I could get by with that. I don't have any small 20's so I can't replace now and see what happens.

Not that I am doubting you, but make sure that you are holding the legend the correct way. When you look at the legend compared to the fuse panel the legend will be upsidedown. The lighter fuse block is located in the second long bank to the right and it is the last one down on the bottom on the left. The other aux power fuses are 113,115 & 118.

Just a thought. If you are using a power adapter for say a phone, maybe it's the inline fuse for the adapter that's burnt out?

I most definitely have the diagram oriented correctly. Could it be Canadian vs. US car being the difference? It's easy to orient due to the one large black fuse or relay. I see the other schematic for the front as well but since I don't really know which symbol translates to these items I'm not sure if any are there. For 111, 113, 115 and 118 it gives a symbol with a - then arrow(of sorts) then a +. To me this means power supply with ignition on which makes some sense(not quite enough though). Maybe the fuse burnt out prior to being able to test after replacement. Still, I don't understand why the center console is out as well now when it wasn't initially.

Also, its not the fuse in the male plug of the device as no devices are working and it worked in working plugs after the cigarette lighter failed.
