Great point, we manufacture security covers to thwart thieves and unsvory onlookers!

You get a complete leather cover in color of your headrests. I will take pictures tomorrow.
And they match the leather color!

If you take the active headrests out of the car it leaves the Airbag removed light on on your dash.

Only if you start the car. And the dealer can errase the warning very easy.

So my question is to you,

Do you think the active headrest are now disabled becasue you put a dvd in the car. I know the dealers know how to trick the ECU (Brain) into thinking the headrests are in and the active headrest airbag is functional, but for piece of mind, that doesn't mean the active headrest safety feature is still active.

Although I definitely see the need for DVD players in the back, please be extra careful my friend. If the dealer turned off that light I would be willing to bet the feature is disabled.

I would readdress that concern with the dealer as soon as you can.

Have a SAFE and fantastic weekend and thanks for the info!

Why would the feature be disabled? There has not been any change in the system. I have driven a week without headrest. The warning was in the idrivedisplay. After a week they installed the headrest again and connected it all. Than i drove to the dealer and they had to connect the E70 to the computer to diagnose. After that they made reset the warning.
So it all works
