Hey all, I finally made the decision and am taking delivery today!! I ended up getting the 08 4.8i for 63K out the door with the following packages:

and I got them to throw in all season mats and tire warranty at no charge! Although they should for that kind of bank! I have been researching and reading everyone's posts on here for months and decided this was the one for me. I think this is a pretty good price considering the options. Anyone have any feedback on that? Also, I know the new idrive is coming late summer 09 but couldn't pass up this deal. I'm off to the dealer but will post pics later today!

When you say 63K out the door, that's everything right (includes tax, license, etc). There must be some crazy incentives! I thought I was lucky when I was able to get the premium package option credit along with getting the car prior to the June 1st increase.

Great price plus free tire warranty... you sure worked them. Or maybe OPEC worked them. ;) My 3.0si was $61k out the door already and it's not as loaded.

Hey all....Just got back from dinner w/ the new car a little while ago and it is great! I still haven't figured it all out quite yet, and noticed that the nav is not as "updated" as you would find in a Lexus or Acura but from I've been told and read, BMW doesn't really care about the electronics but more so the ride....Anyway, I got the car for 63K w/ 2.9% for 60mo. w/ 0 down...I didn't want to put anything down bec my wife and I have a newborn coming soon and would rather have the cash for her instead:) The MSRP was 73,870K and they already had an advertised 9000 off MSPR and then took another 3K off after a few days of negotiating...They have had the vehicle for 2 months and said it wouldn't move bec it was "too loaded" which I dont understand, and the tire warranty came with but has a 5K limit on it for tire/wheels so I better not hit any pot holes soon! I did have to pay for the key protection and all weather mats but I figured I could cover that...I got the vehicle in VA BEACH, VA and the service was EXCELLENT..Jim Anderson was the sales client and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in this area! So thanks for everyone and their comments and I cant wait to see what this car has to offer!
