Mine is also a 5/08 build. I had the battery drain error twice two months ago. Never happened again and it has been 15 below some days.
Go figure. |
Happened to me again this morning as I was loading my X for a trip. Approximately 1 hour of just "unlocked" doors - no radio, no ignition... just the tailgate was opened...
Jump-started it from my wife's car. |
^ so "high battery drain" could be 2 types... 1) where it's just a warning that the battery may be low... and 2) the same text but you're completely out of juice... never heard of #2 till now.
Small dome lights - not sure if there are any - left on because of the tailgate for an hour would probably do it though. They say don't leave your blinkers running when your car is broken down waiting for help for this reason. |
Happened to me last weekend. Truck did start but it was slow to crank.
Have an appointment next week to have it checked out. |
Guys, can we do a little bit of statistics here:
A) anybody with ONLY the message showing up (no clock reset, no dead battery ever) B) message + clock reset - never dead battery C) message + clock reset + dead battery eventualy Online poll here: http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...nces-poll.html |
Здравейте!
При мен се появи "increased battery discharge", изчезна часовника и навигацията. Какъв може да е проблема? Предваритело Ви благодаря. |
just a question: where is the battery located and how to get to it?
I want to check it for possible water spots as some members here mentioned it as a possible problem. Thanks |
