A little bit of bling...

I am not usually one to make any changes to a car - I much prefer the stock appearance but in the case of my 3.0D E70 I just thought the grill needed a little something.
So, my answer has been to add stick on chrome styling strips to the leading edge of the black plastic grill slats. I think this makes all the difference, what do you think? Total cost £7 (from Ebay) for 3m of 7mm strip, 20 minutes to cut to length & apply. Cheaper than a replacement Titanium grill and, personally, I think it looks better with the Silver paint. Looks good - I'm not sure if the all chrome grill is an option but it should be a standard on the E70

do the real chrome grills actually feel like metal or hard plastic?

you talking about the 'titanium' grill? definitely plastic

Looks really good. The chrome accented black slats definitely look like they have more depth and more aggressive than the all 'titanium' grills.

Very nice, classy look

Am I the only person ho thinks it is discusting???
I had my blacks replaced by the titanium and this way they have the exact same look as the other titanium grills below. |
