How to disable seatbelt warning noise??

Anybody know how to get rid of it or turn the volume down? I can't even be in park without hearing the damn thing if my belts not on. On a sidenote, if I don't have my belt on it takes like a minute before I can control the electronics in the car. I'm from Jersey... we don't wait!!:D

I want to know about this too. The chime doesn't stop until you wear the seat belt, really annoying.

Couldn't agree more - seatbelts have a proven safety benefit, which is why it is mandatory to wear them in most countries globally. I find it amazing that they are still optional in such a well educated country.

i remember in the E53 there was a trick i performed. i put reverse and it stoped. maybe there is a way with the E70

Why anyone would ever think of starting a car without a seatbelt is beyond me. I wear them even when riding in the back seat.
