Well Gang...

After much research, soul searching and negotiating...my E70 has been ordered!!! Now the hard part...waiting...

2 Days ago I custom ordered a 3.0. Stupidly, I stopped on my way home from work yesterday and for sh-ts and giggles test drove a 3.0 and a 4.8 back-to-back.

My new order is as follows:

2009 E70 4.8:

Space Gray with Black Nevada and Burl Walnut

Smart Phone
Sat Radio

36 Months. 10k per year. $821 + Tax. Bank Fee, 1st month and Registration down.

Thoughts?

How do you feel about ordering the 3.0 especially after driving the 3.0 and 4.8 back to back?

Haven't you heard the saying, never stop by a BMW dealer and test drive, I have done it twice and ended up walking out poorer ;)

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the group :welcome:. Now just try to concentrate on your work, there are very unproductive wait days ahead ;)

I ordered the 4.8. I did not make that clear. My fault.

Minor tidbit, but I'm not a fan of the burl walnut trim, you sure that's what you want? You could get Aluminium if you want at no cost ;)

Did the same mistake here so do not feel lonely. Once I drove the 4.8, I had to have it. The V8 sound and power is addicting...;)

This will be my Third Straight car with it...used to it. I considered the Bamboo.

TOTALLY!!! I went to bed last night and could not get that ridiculous exhaust note out of my head. It changed everything for me.:thumbup:

LOL, my wife did the same! Went to buy a 325 came home with a 330 xi :)

Once you go V8, you won't go back!
