CCA X5 rebate?

Anybody on the board apply for, and receive the CCA Rebate?

This will actually be my third rebate. Looks like $1000 this time around...

Yes, I applied for my $1K and I'm waiting for my check from BMWNA.

What is CCA reabate? How do we get that? I am planning to get an X5 in March when I return my car.

Thanks.

Thanks.

You need to join the BMWCCA. However, I think you need to be a member for 6 months before being eligable for rebates. It's like 40 bucks per year.

You have to join the BMW Car Club and be a member for at least a year before you can get the rebate.

twice. new & CPO. :D

one year membership prior to purchase required. which might mean a year paid for rather than calendar, i don't know.

Penguin 01-16-2009 11:22 PM

You have to have a membership start date which is at least one year prior to delivery/bill of sale date.

SKW 01-19-2009 08:09 PM

Also need to add no disruptions in your membership in the 12 months prior to purchase date.

Diesels do not qualify for rebate?

I was looking at the forums for the BMW Car Club and found this statement from the Roundel's Editor. Apparently the diesels are being excluded from the rebate progam. Darn! Here is the link and a copy of the text below:

BMW NA renews Membership Rewards rebate program
Good news for those who waited for the new year to buy a BMW: As of January 1, the BMW X6 and the 1 Series have been added to the Membership Rewards rebate program. To qualify for a rebate, the vehicle must be purchased in 2009. That means a car you bought in 2008 is not eligible, even if you didn’t take delivery until 2009; the retail sales date of the vehicle must be 1/1/09 or later.

Buyers of a new X6 are eligible for a $1,000 Membership Rewards rebate, while a CPO X6 is eligible for $500.

A new 1 Series is eligible for a $500 Membership Rewards rebate; a CPO 1 Series is also eligible for $500.

Bad news for diesel fans: The diesel models available in the U.S.—the 335d and the X535d, which BMW insists on calling something like the X5 xDrive35d—are not eligible for rebates.

The new form will be online soon. Meanwhile, if you are eligible for one of the new rebates, you may use the old form; just write in the correct model and rebate amount.
