I don't see any interior changes, but I think the exterior looks great! Good posting Alexey093. Thanks!

Well the interior [and exterior] colors are new... ;)
Looks a bit weird without a front license plate, sort of unfinished. The fogs do look weird when you notice it. The rear looks much better than I thought it would. I wonder what an aerokit would look like on this guy - obviously that would have to be re-done - but it doesn't seem to need it as much as the ones out now. Interesting headlight re-design - wonder if it accomplishes anything from a practical standpoint. |
Models Available with new 8-speed automatic gearbox:
xDrive50i - 407HP xDrive35i - 306HP xDrive40d - 306HP (not available in US) xDrive35d - 265HP xDrive30d - 245HP (not available in US) One of the models in pics is the 40d model. |
I think it looks clean. With 407HP most people won't be seeing much of the front fog lights anyways--just the rear. ;)
So, they have the 214 wheels on these pics but the 336 style will also be the optional 20" wheels on the Sport Pack, correct ? |
I think the look is growing on me. Anyone have any idea what the little sensor is on the side of the front fender (where the normal reflector usually is)? Is it a camera like on the 7 series for front side views?
|
I like the rear better than my 2010, but the fog light placement ruins the front for me, and I prefer the 2010 front styling myself. The breakline they put in the front between the bumper and the fender also doesn't do anything for me, although it probably reduces repair costs for minor accidents.
P.S. Looks like rumors of an interior upgrade must of been wrong. |

Thanks for the post, Alexey! I don't even think the fogs look bad...overall a nice facelift. The wait appears to have been worth it. Look forward to seeing more official pics. |

But unfortunately the practical need doesn't make their placement look any better to the eye. As an aside, "fog" lights are a virtual necessity for autos today as a feature, but I wonder, from a practical perspective, how many people would miss them if they were eliminated. I can't remember the last time I ever had a use for my fog lights... perhaps if one lived in a coastal area or other area with frequent fog. |
