I called 2 US dealers, and it is NOT available for order in the US, since it is not an option for US E70 models.

I just looked at 500+ E7x's and not one of them has this windshield. US and ECE versions. Then I spoke to the QMT for that part and he says it is an option, but with a very low take rate. Also it is much more subtle than the E53 version. If you look at the rain sensor, you will see an area without the coating.

There are 2 area with small *cutouts*.
One is by the rain sensor and another is on the bottom parallel close to the dash.

It's subjective IMO. Some may not like the polarized tint...as they may find it too *dark* even in bright sunlight. This is one of those that I would suggest seeing in person before considering swapping

Don't go to the dealer. I recently had mine replaced, $1500 from the dealer, no comfort glass. $500 installed aftermarket and I now have a purple tint ;)
