If your user name "WannaX5" means you do not have an X5, yet want one...trust us who have one!!! Saying fault codes are always stored is pompous & uninformed. Fault codes are supposed to always be strored in the computer...but after 2 E70s, that is not the case!!!

Calling me pompous and uniformed for my comment means you are either a real a$$ or you need a dictionary. I currently have a 2008 BMW 535i which is in the process of being lemoned. Trust me when I say I have had plenty of fault codes and each and every one has been "stored". The one time when the fault code disappeared from my car before I got it to the dealer it was still stored when they did the diagnostic and the service advisor told me they are always stored. So next time you open your arrogant mouth, why not asking me what my story is or what car I have?

Actually, I was merely taking your heartfelt advice and consulted the dictionary as you advised in your message. After doing as you requested, and reading the definitions, I posted my message.

If any attorney were to jump to conclusions as you did, I would be sure to win my case. FYI, no need to go to court. All being done through BMW without attorneys. Lemon law is pretty clear and BMW are smart enough to know when they have one. Next time, try not to call someone pompous for merely stating an opinion. Try to correct them nicely as the people before you did. No need to start shit with someone who had no ill intentions in his original post. Imagine if you answered a question the best you could on the 535 board, and for no reason I called you an asshole?
