I placed my order the day after I found out that the eco credit would be extended to 2010 orders as long as they were placed before September, that was about 2 weeks ago. Last Tues my CA emailed me with my production order. Today I was told delivery should be by the 2nd week in October. I have ordered 3 other cars from the dealer and they have always been honest and reliable with me. i see no reason to mistrust them at this point.
I even gave them my trade today so they can't lower the price at time of delivery.

Gray leather?
 

Does anyone think there's a chance of getting gray Nevada leather on an ordered 2010 X5 35d? I understand there are sometimes Priority One options that typically could not be otherwise ordered....

My sales guy said no, and when he checked the Priority one options for 2010, he said there were none listed, other than red exterior... at least not yet.

Has anyone tried ordering a '10 in Sophisto Grey? (and not the 10th Edition)
It wasn't given to me as an option when I ordered mine :confused:

One what? Sophito Gray?

Man. Stop dealerships told me that the 35d is in such high demand that there is a wait list just for production slots (all taken). Crazy.

Amazing what $4,500 can do. I think BMW just found out that a lot of Americans want a diesel, they just don;t want to pay $3,700 for the privilege.

One sales guy at a dealership, when I asked about a diesel, said "you can't get those now."

I'll bet a lot of dealers regret those "$500 over invoice" deals they did in August (I didn't get one of those, I did a $1,200 deal)
