Thanks I like to stay on top it of as I am drooling just waiting for the TT V8 this Spring:drool:. Hopefully Obama keeps up the good work in scaring everyone about the economy so BMW will be forced to offer a low APR at that time. :bustingup

The other day I heard an X6 4.4 TT go by at WOT - best sounding BMW I've ever heard - way meaner than my M5 or anything I've heard!

This is almost verbatim the 2004 RR Westminster Edition.... That said, that was gorgeous. Can't wait to see the LCI.

I love the color.....I might paint my 09 X5 this color so I could get black or white for the X5 M.

So 2010 X5's come out in Oct/Nov'09 and then 2011 X5 in Mar'10?
5 months of sell time for the 2010's before the facelift 2011's come out? Is that possible?

Yes it is. And it won't be the first time BMW has done it.
But BMW is chnaging there minds these days based on dynamics of economy so you never know. Nothing is set in stone.

I know the next X3 official pics will be out in Dec 09 with debut at Detroit. And 2011 X3 will be available soon thereafter. BMW is losing sales to competition and therefore 2010 X3 will be shortlived.
2011 5-series is also supposed to be out in spring 2010. (2010 5-series and 6-series have been out already)

Thanks for clearing it all up for me - quite the dilemma. I love that 10th Edition color, but reality check - how likely am I going to get one of the 500 in production. I'm ready to buy NOW, already have to wait until the 2010 come out with the new iDrive. Do I wait another "x" months for the bigger engine in the 2011's.

Do we know the price point for the 10th edition?

I checked with my dealer on the availability of the 10th anniversary edition today.
He confirmed this is only available in the US:( I was really hoping on bagging one of these in the UK.

I went to my local dealer today in the SF Bay Area. I indicated my interest in the 2010 lineup and she indicated she'd be happy to order one to my specs, but didn't have the 2010 spec sheet yet.

She indicated that they're willing to work with me on the price for special order, something I didn't think was possible, in general. I thought that a car sitting on a dealer lot is something they want to move and thus will negotiate more on. She stated that the opposite is true, in that they can barely keep X5's on the lot because people come in on a whim and want instant gratification by driving off with one that day.

Not quite sure what to believe, since I rarely see E70's on the road here in the Silicon Valley. I see a ton of the older body styles driving around, so I am not quite sure where she's telling me that they are selling heavily...

Anyways, I'll be hitting y'all up for lease negotiating advice soon on the X5 4.8 for 2010. I know my dealer needs to make a few bucks on the deal, but since I am new to BMW, I have no idea what a good price is on a well-equipped X5 4.8. I pretty much want all of the "techie" options, but don't need any of the "sport" options...
