Interesting, though the "models that use this technology" point to a 2006 X5 in the URL, the E53. That's before adaptive drive with the sport button in question too. All the content is for E70 though - strange. Anyway, it also mentions it may be for specific engine types within that model. At any rate, as much as I wish I could feel all those differences they mention (more immediate steering, shorter gearshift times, etc.), I don't. I turned the button off today because my kids were sleeping in the back, the only difference was the harshness of the bumps. Revs/acceleration were the same. Anyone with a 4.8 actually feel the difference in shift points & steering?
