I use BW and it last a long time. I wash my car at least once a week. Lasts about 8-10 car washes before I consider another application. You use very very little. Each application I find the less you have to use.

Thanks for all the opinions, I'll try one of these products and let you know how it goes.

Use 303 aerospace protectant!

303 Products, Inc.: 303 Aerospace Protectant

I've tried Black WOW, Klasse stuff, but nothing works better than 303.

really? i'll have to stop using that then...

I've never had any such issues with Armorall--been using it on my e53 for 8 years now on the lower black exterior trim--and I'm in TX, too--you can fry an egg on the pavement here in the Summer.

:bsflag:
any product will eventually dry out. Nothing will permanently eliminate the fade, unless you paint it. I have used Armorall since i owned cars with no issues, good product.

BTW, the black wow that we all love so much is also a silicone based product... says so in the first line on the back of the bottle. While armorall is on the lower end and isn't as good as the 303 aerospace protectant, it is still ok for the plastic on the running boards and lower bumper trim etc.
