2010 X5 35d - Lease

Hello Everybody,
I have ordered my 2010 X5d on August 28th. The PCD is 13th (today), so I gave my dealer a call so that he can calculate my lease numbers. Below is what he send me, I just want to double check with Lease exports here to see if numbers he gave are what they suppost to be, or am I getting a bit ripped of.
MSRP was $63,349.
Negotiated price (includes $4,500 ECOcredit) is $56,125.

* Also while the car was on order I have added ColdWeather package which was + $700. As I understand the Negotiated price goes up by $700 and MSRP, right?
So new numbers would be:
MSRP: $64,049
Neg: $56,825

Lease offers Dealer sent:
I used 8.875% for the tax rate and estimated $190 for motor vehicle.
I gave you several different options for the lease with taxes in the
payment, taxes upfront and both scenerios with and without multiple security
deposits. All leases below are 36 months and 10,000/yr

1. With tax upfront and with the multiple security deposits
$749/mon
$10,372 total due at signing
$6,000 is refunded at lease end.
2. With tax upfront and NO multiple security deposits
$795.36/mon
$5364 total due at signing (includes a required $800 security deposit which
is waived for BMW loyalty)
3. With tax in the payment and WITH multiple security deposits
$828.77/mon
$8,857 total due at signing
$6800 refunded at lease end
4. With tax in payment and NO multiple security deposits
$880.91/mon
$3009 total due at signing

I'm sure you'll get some good answers here, but I would also post your question here:

You're taking PCD on the same day your paying for the car? How is that possible? Performance Center told me they have to have completed paperwork at least one week out in order to ensure the car will be ready for delivery when we arrive in South Carolina...

Blair780 10-13-2009 02:45 PM

Also I heard they were not allowing any deliveries of the any 35d's until the EPA cert was worked out, are you planning to take delivery today still? Have they mentioned anything about this to you?

I'm sorry for confusion, I think I used PCD (as a abbreviation) wrong.
I meant PCD as (Production Completion Date). Did some search on PCD abbreviation I see that PCD means Performance Center Delivery.
Hopefully this will clarify things.

no problem. Ours must be side-by-side - my car is "scheduled" for completion today. But that hasn't updated since last week... I guess we'll see if it changes at midnight or tomorrow.....

Seriously, post it here and you will get great feedback. If you're not signed up on that site, it's worth your time to sign up and get great info, especially on that forum when you are looking to lease.

OK i think i got this.

I had wrong MSRP and Neg. price, dealer has send me the correct numbers due to late adjustments i made to the order. This is my calculation.

1. Sticker Price $64,525
2. Residual Value %58
3. Equals the residual $37,424
value
4. Negotiated Price $56,275
5. Minus the residual $18,851 ($56,424 - $37,424) We're responsible for this.
6. Equals the depreciation
over 36 month $523.63 - monthly price without bank's %

7. Net capitalized coast $56,275
8. Plus the residual $37,424
9. Equals $93,699 (56,275 + 37,424)

10. Times the money .00250
factor
11. Equals money factor $234.25
payment portion
12. Monthly depreciation $234.25 + $523.63
payment + money factor
payment portion
13. Equals bottom-line moth. $757.88
lease payment

I send email to dealer asking how he got his numbers which are still wrong, he replied asking me to come in :(. I guess i'll have to take a drive to NJ.

Don't do that, especially if you don't want to. There is no reason why you can't figure this out via email or phone. If he gets you in the showroom, and if you don't want to be there, you might do something drastic just because you went all the way over there and don't want to waste a trip.
