They don't ship, they don't invoice, they don't get paid.

Yup, whenever you have a customer, you want to close the deal as soon as possible. In many, if not most states, there is no such thing as a non-refundable deposit, i.e., people can walk away from the sale if they change their mind or get too irritated at BMW.

Mine was completed on 10/7 (2 weeks ago!!) and it's still sitting waiting to be trucked. CA said this morning that all 2010 X5s including 30i, 35d, 48i (not the X5M) are being held for some reason. He thinks it has something to do with the EPA, but he's not sure.

My 35d has been complete since 10/8. C/A called today and said they expected mine on yesterday's truck, but it didn't arrive. However, they did get a 2010 3.0 in for their inventory, so they are being shipped. They expect mine today or tomorrow. BMW NA says mine is now part of dealer's inventory, so it has been shipped.

I spoke to my SA on Saturday, he said my X5d was released to the dealer late Friday Oct. 16th. and should be at the dealership this week!
I can only take his word for it......

I just talked with my SA and they are getting shipped 2010 models now. One of car, which was ordered later than mine, is getting delivered earlier than mine because the trucking company somehow pulls out that car before mine........
The trucking company already set a schedule for 10/21. My dealer is only 1 hour away from the port but it will take 2-3 days for the actual delivery according to my SA. It is supposed to be delivered this week. Hopefully, I will get it on saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news in the last 3 posts here. Hopefully it's all true and we get our cars soon!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys. I hope you all take delivery soon.
