Thanks. I've been pretty harassing--calling every day or two. I did order the technology package--is there any truth to the rumor that vehicles with those packages are delayed?

I would think if that was the case it wouldn't show production completed. You'd still be waiting for production. :dunno:

Dealers need to build their pipelines so they love it when people like you and I hold on to 2-3 month orders. If you want an alternative to just waiting, keep checking inventories at local dealers - even your own. You can do it right from the comfort of your computer. You may get surprised at how many of them pop up. If you can find a good match, price etc... ditch the order. Make sure you can get your deposit back!

I ordered in late Oct and had a build #. Long story short it has still not started build. Yet I have been driving a new X5 35d for two weeks. Needless to say I canceled the order;)

I don't know. Is that the prep center in SC or a local prep center :dunno:

in my case online status jumped from scheduled for production to at prep center . . . turned out to be bogus. Call the 800# it's more accurate. Call your ca too. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
