Does order equate to a signed purchase agreement or to a deposit placed on a build to order car?

Your signed purchase agreement should show the ECO credit. This is what you get when you order your car.

I wish I was having the same luck as many of you in Southern California. Best I've come up with for something in inventory is $500 off MSRP.

If I could get $1500 over MSRP, I'd sign papers today.

I am in LA and placed an order 2-3 weeks ago for a 35d that should be here in January. Got it pretty loaded and ended up at $750 over invoice before applying the $4500 Eco credit.

Closed on 35d in Santa Monica

We ended up closing on the one in Santa Monica Wednesday night. There wasn't much wiggle room on the vehicle itself, but they did deal on a new set of wheels, which I had planned to replace anyway.

So, while not the great bargains that many got, I'm still thrilled to be getting this SAV.

no wiggle room in Bay Area (SF) for 35d or 335id ... as soon as one comes in, it gets sold same day. One of the rare SKUs that sells for MSRP right away.

I got mine ordered last night too. They best offer I was given was $2,700 over invoice. I finally offered $2,000 over invoice and 1 dealer accepted that; 2 others bailed and 1 would just match what the first dealer did. I'm buying from Kuni in Portland.

I too am thrilled about the car. Essentially it was $59,225 msrp, and after the eco credit and $2k over invoice it was $51,990. Which is actually a good price for that car. They threw in floor mats as well. The process begins! I can't way to join the E70 crowd even though I've really enjoyed my E53. I'll be posting some for sale items from mine.

I ended up with:
2010 XDrive 35d
Platinum Bronze
Tobacco Nevada Leather
Dark Bamboo Wood Trim
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Rear climate package
Running Boards
Satellite Radio
Space-saver spare
Roof rails

Dealer said it was immediate build allocation and as long as the contract was signed and car delivered before I think May 28 eco-credit would apply.

Thanks everyone!

You can't build to order? Per my info: If dealer has allocation, you can have delivery before Feb 28 and the eco-credit. But order should be in as sold before Jan 4.

You can build to order, did mine back in Oct, came in 2 weeks ago. MSRP was just over 63k. Agreed lease at 58k. I had walked away from it, and came back on New Years Eve.

Good info for the extend of the Eco Credit. Must be ordered by tomorrow, Jan 4th.

Has anyone received the BMW CCA Reward and an Eco Credit?
