tips arches and 214's a busy day
I spent the afternoon installing the goodies on my 35d, I am very happy with the results. Now it looks exactly like my 07 4.8is :)

Got more pix? Very nice...

Looks great. Did you get flares specifically for the 35d or were they ones made for the gas versions. DaRipper noted that his had one hole that didn't match up in the front.

Here's a couple more. I have to say the arches were alot easier than I thought, the rivet tool is a must. I am not 100% satisfied with the tip alignment, I fought with the passenger side for some time, it sticks out alittle more than the drivers side. Next sunny day I'll see if I can get it any better.

Thanks for confirming. I have the flares that I had on my old '07 4.8 (Sapphire Black like yours). I'm going to install them in a couple of weeks when I am sure we finished with snow in the Northeast.
I would agree that 8 should be more than enough to keep them in place. I am going to out a rubber block in them to keep water out. |
nice work, that is one clean machine... my white gets dirty after only a few days regardless.. I can only imagine that black. Is that the sapphire, jet or carbon black?
