I'm for the mileage factor. I experienced items going "wrong" with my car well before the dealer started to see trends because of my mileage. With the exception of certain items that will dry rot, age is not as big as mileage on the vehicle, IMHO. I still have a 325CiC with 39K from 2002. Little maintenance costs throughout the 8 years, still drives and looks great.
