Can you explain more? |
We're at 40K even now which includes them putting on 2 new tires on the front. Rear ones look fine. I think we're getting closer.
Many other X5s would be 2-3k cheaper but don't have the same options... Sirius, iPod, Nav, Premium Package, and Technology package are nice. |

HOW CAN KBB AND EDMUNDS BE CORRECT? nobody is getting the numbers they say are 'trade in values', hence they are fabrications. or maybe just 'systemic errors from our complex and proprietary pricing algorithms'...or maybe those are the trade ins that you get if you pay MSRP for the new car? But hey, you think it is accurate, go with that- just like folks that come here and say "I paid TMV for my new X5" only to be told they left $1500 on the table... it is an average and you need some outliers to make it all work. |

Totally agree with you ard.
What I have found though is that all 5 dealers I have visited are willing to come off about $2,000 off their "Internet Price". When I do an Edmunds CPO valuation it comes back at $46,000 and change but dealer is coming in at $40,000. Obviously I want the best deal I can get, and don't want to get screwed. But given the option package, I am really wondering if the X5 is as low as they will go? BTW, they also agreed to the PPI which I will be having done once we come to agreement on price. |
