I guess it is a well known sound to those who have experienced a 'swirly'!

Getting a lot of love from the guys, and had bunch of teenagers yell Nice car when I passed by. I've been super impressed and car has been solid so far. I'm contemplating purchasing another one. Walked into dealer to pick up some paper work and this gorgeous car had just arrived. Very tempting!

Haha... I would venture to say that I built one of the most modded RRS in the country and I do agree you get a lot of looks but the constant steering wheel vibration, squealing emergency brake, and various faulty components had driven me up the wall. Since it wasn't a daily driver for me, it seemed like every other time I drove it, something went wrong.

They are sexy and look great... but I guess you can't have the best of both worlds (looks & reliability)

Bottom line, we all know of the reliability issues but we hope you got a clean one and you enjoy the truck!

Hi Edwin,

I saw your car many years back, it's been an inspiration. When I picked it up a few days back, I found your thread trying to find the bodykit. Didn't know you were here. Gorgeous car for sure.

These trucks definitely look good  The kit is made by Arden. My exhaust is Overfinch with a custom quad setup. PM me if you want to do the kit... it's labor intensive (molds onto the existing bumper) but looks great if done right

Car is now SOLD, It was fun, short and enjoyable. Looking at Porsche 911 Carrera S. We don't get enough Snow in Virginia for it to be worthwhile for an SUV and for a Single guy with no Family, the extra space is not needed. I do recommend the RR for anyone, great car, lots of attention and many Jealous looks.

really?

So what DOES a "jealous look" actually look like?

or does this really say more about you and the need to own a car that you think gets Jealous looks?

GAM3OVR 12-28-2010 12:49 AM

Well seeing how there is a thread begging to see if anyone would even take a look at X5 in the street, I'd say you'd know the definition.

For a guy that pleads with others not to be a hater, you seem to be very happy to get 'jealous looks'.

Insecure much?

GAM3OVR 12-28-2010 12:57 AM

I was referring to X5 owners, not regular people on the street. ;) Considering Range Rover is a car that every X5 owner wishes they could afford, but they have to go one down.
