Stereo Volume adjustment?
I like my music turned up pretty high but I noticed that there is a regulator (I'm assuming) on how high the volume goes? Any idea of how/if I could change that?
Again, I'm not sure about this? I just feel that my older X5 and my wifes X3 goes up all the way. When I say up all the way, I mean until it distorts loud. lol Any thought or ideas would be great. I know someone is going to say, "change out your speakers and add an amp"! I don't want to do that. I all ready added a 10" sub and it sounds great. Just not loud enoght volume wise!! |
Did you get the "11" option?

what is the "11" option?

Sorry, just a little Spinal Tap reference

does anyone know?

I have the same complaint with my 2010 (base saound system). Max volume isn't even close to being loud. I don't knopw about the 2011 but the 2011 only has 4 speakers. We had a 2007 X3 before this and teh base system was great.

I hope it helped. P.S. I like it loud too, but I have premium sound system and it seems like enough. |
Thanks for the tip but I have tried adjusting the volume through the I-drive. I guess the bottom line the stereo volume sucks on the X. Sad, my wife's X3 sounds good!

Sound Level 2011
I had an '09 and now an '11 with the standard sound system. The '09 volume level was a lot louder than the '11 is. Probably a safety specification.
I personally would prefer to be able to make my ears ring. That is rock 'n roll. |
