My Wheel guy just sent me this sneak peek
My wheel guy just sent me this sneek pic of my new wheels
10,000 Ton Forged (22 lbs), CNC cut, 20x11 with 315/35 - 20 rubber http://www.wardphotography.com/temp/IMG_0279.jpg |
Nice! Is the pile of cash to buy that wheel heavier than the wheel itself?
|
10,000 tons? They sound pretty heavy but they sure do look nice.
P.S. You know you're loaded when you have your own "wheel guy" |
What company are those? Really light for 20" rims.
|
all I gotta say is the 214s are already a PITA to clean. ;)
|
The wheels are Rennen, I got them from Oakville Motorwerksjust outside of Toronto. I've dealt with Sean in the past, and his customer service is second to none.
Anyway, here are some pics that I took when I got home. http://www.wardphotography.com/X5/IMG_1298.jpg http://www.wardphotography.com/X5/IMG_1305.jpg http://www.wardphotography.com/X5/IMG_1319.jpg |
Bad ass!!!
|
I like the 3rd pix...very nice shot and nice wheel .
|
Those look really really nice, I want some good forged wheels like those....just not sure I want to fork over the dough.
update- i checked out the website, they are actually reasonably priced for forged wheels. And i think he meant 10 tons, not 10,000. |
^^ The weight difference is incredible. The stock 19 rims and rubber are so much heavier. With these wheels, the steering feels a bit lighter, and the truck just seems to respond to changes of direction quicker.
