Those hooks are surprisingly not available seperately. You have to buy a new OEM net. In that case you get the hooks and receive a spare net for free. :D
How stupid does BMW think their customers are? It's almost the same as if you would have to buy a new car when the ashtray is full. Anyone else who found in the meantime a solution for that 'hook' problem? |

By they way, I believe if the rubber-type coating on the earlier model's light switch wears off, the only fix is a complete new light switch... not replacing the knob. P.S. I've used these on my motorcycles for many years: Bungee Loops :: Aerostich/RiderWearHouse Motorcycle Jackets, Suits, Clothing, & Gear Not sure if they would be strong enough, but I suppose one could take a hacksaw and file to them to change the "loop" to a "hook." |
Just received this today, however it doesn't come with washer and nuts (actually this is stated in the instruction manual posted on this thread). I thought this was lame, why would they not include these little parts in the kit??

Ya, it's really dumb. I took it back to the dealership / service department that I bought it at and complained. They installed it for free for me.
