Trunk net install?

Hi, I saw a few ebay listings for BMW Cargo Trunk Tailgate Net (Part Number 51-47-0-416-677). I have a question - since there is no hooks near the location shown (close to the tailgate), does installation assume making some holes and installing new hooks? Can someone with this installed help please?
Thanks,
Gino

I'd be interested to hear if anyone did this as well.

Interesting PDF instructions. I wonder how many dealers actually disconnect the battery to install bolts for a cargo net....

So, this uses just the trim piece as a base, correct? No metal frame of any sort behind it? Would it hold up well, in you opinion?

Probably not too many, but it suggests, in combination with the warning to not drill too deep so that you don't drill through other components, that somebody did exactly that. Wonder what he hit?

Yes - only drill thru trim - just installed but looks robust enough

When selling my E53 I left the hooks (B) attached in the car. Does anyone know which partnumber those are? My dealer says they can't be backordered and I have to buy the whole package again, including the net?! Can you believe? Anyone any suggestions so I can fit this net again in my E70?

This has got to be the lamest integration i've ever seen. Even Toyota put thought into a scion to take out one screw and screw in the hook.
