Buyer always wins, It's a long process, but you get your money 100%

I had a lot of luck with paypal resolution. I filed a complaint because someone shipped me the wrong item and wouldn't return my emails. 2 weeks went by with no contact from the seller and paypal put the cash back in my account. Hope it works well for you.

And for what it's worth, I like the Bel STi better than the V1. Works very well.

I had an X50 in my E92 for 3 years. I had no complaints. The reason I moved on to the V1 was because of the arrows. CHP near where I live loves to pace you and hide in obnoxious spots. Unfortunately, I lack the ability to lay off the gas pedal :)

Ive had over 300 transactions on Ebay. I had two problems with an item and another with no delivery. I filed filed a claim. After about a week, paypal refunded my money.
I only use paypal on ebay.

I just got a refund for an item (after a filing a claim) after the seller did not deliver (and he was actually suspended by eBay.

Buyer doesn't always win :( Last year, seller took a long time to ship item and it arrived when I was away. By the time that I was able to test item, and after a couple of email exchanges with seller trying to resolve the issue, eBay rejected my claim as they said it had been too long since purchase. I was so pissed as I had wasted so much time trying to work things out with that seller. I couldn't even rate the sale as too much time had passed -- I couldn't post feedback!

I bought a camera lens a few years ago. Seller confirmed the "glass is perfect" when I asked the condition of the optics.

Item arrived, front lens cracked with a starburst crack. Paypal said "we don't get involved with disagreements over quality". I said 'the terms of the sale included his email that the glass was perfect, you tell buyers to ask questiuons and confrim in writing, then refuse to enforce the terms of the sale".

After all that I charged it back with AMEX.

My policy now is simple:

Call AMEX, chargeback
Email AMEX with written documentation
Copy paypal.
Ignore anything more from paypal.
\Done

This is why I have never and will never buy anything on Ebay.

it isn't the venue, but the payment method, that defines your recourse...

I always go straight forward to PayPal, you can Claim until 45 days!

I had a buyer attempt fraud with me and I got a case escation which went in my favor as the seller. Ebay and Paypal are good but you have to watch out when you link your bank account with them. the hard part is once a claim is filed the funds get pulled out of the sellers account until it's settled. I had to wait almost 2 weeks but I did get my funds in the end.
