i would also be interested in the torrent (if it were available) AND i would buy the manual as well. i am the type of person that wants to have the guide in both hard and electronic format (i bought both Bentley manuals for the E36 and the R53 Mini Cooper S, and also downloaded both). some may be cheap, others may not be. to each his own.

This has little to do with being cheap. There's nothing wrong with trying to save money. Stealing to save money isn't being cheap, it's being dishonest.

I'm not sure I would approve of shoplifting, even if the person said he was "cheap."

I'm pretty cheap myself, but I still don't shoplift and I don't steal books, either from bookstores or electronically.

This rates right up there with getting "Free Vehicle History reports". If you can't spend the money to get the reports you should not be buying these cars. Oh yea, everytime somebody posts a "Free report" I will tell the people who developed the application(I was lead architect and wrote most of the code for the Autocheck) and the staff that supports it and there families that they feed and the other employees that depend on Experian to make money and pay there salaries to go "F$#% off". Typical America. Why pay for something when I can steal it because it doesn't effect me. Now look at the USA. Sorry for that....

wow the E53 Service Manual is $130 !

at the Bentley legal site...

you can find the manual cheaper on amazon or other websites. i want to say my 2006 mini cooper s bentley manual was around the same price from the bentley publishers website. i picked mine up brand new from amazon for about $70 + shipping.

Not for a moment. The OP posted that he believed it was available on CD, but he wanted it on a torrent. If he just wanted it in digital fomat, he would have looked for the CD. Instead, he wanted to steal it.

Don't agree that spending $60k at BMW entitles anyone to steal copyrighted material from a third party, in this case Bentley Publishers.

:iagree:

Stealing is stealing not matter how you try to mask it
