1) if you re-read the first bit and study the first 3 pictures more, you'll see the connector and the wires/wire colors needed to intercept and tap.

2) It honestly doesn't matter if they are Hi or Low signal since you have the JL amp (I'm mainly saying this because I can't remember if they're Hi or Low, LOL), but if you know anything about the amp, on LOW, it boosts the output. I have to set mine on HIGH or the bass just booms way too powerfully.

3) There are two trays, one directly over the battery, and one behind it, long enough to hold an umbrella, let's say. Both of these trays are held by visible screws only and lift directly up once all screws are removed. There are no clips or anything else that hold them down.

i don't have the premium audio as this individual has and I am trying to figure out which wires to tap off of for the signal to the amp. Anyone done this yet?

See attached for the wiring diagram for non premium audio. You'll tap the signals coming directly from the back of the CCC.

Would I not take it off from the left and right woofer?

Yes, you could do that too. Sadly, it may be easier to take out the dash and get the signal from back there.

I had a hell of a time trying to get to the subs under my front seats. I have the multi-contour seats, so IDK if they add difficulty to that. That's one of the reasons I took signal from the amp in the rear. The other being that it was much closer and didn't involve running wires under carpet or trim.

That's what I mean. Tap off right at the back where the amplifier is, but use the factory sub wire colors.
I wonder what the factory cut off is for the subs. Almost curious if I should tap off a set of full range outputs to cover more of the lower end stuff that the factory may not have.

And what color is RT? Red -? Lol! I am guessing GE is green?

I usually type some search in google to get the wire codes. Here you go.

Note: GR/WS means Gray w/ White stripe.

hey finagle69, I have decided that I want to take the full signal and let my amplifier do the filtering cause I am not sure if I will like where the bmw signal is cut off at.

But according to the pdf you have posted up, that looks like it's what's AFTER all the filtering has been done correct? Where would I get the full range signal from? before the amp?
