tailgate fixed - What did they do
 

can you pl let me know what did they fix for tailgate, I am having rattling noise, had been to service couple of times but the sound comes back with in a week.

you might search this site or the bimmer site as a lot of folks have written about this, fyi. :thumbup:

They put this special kind of black tape on the hinge were the top meets the bottom half. Hope it works out :)

Aside: as someone who came so close to lemoning one BMW, you must have a deep love for this vehicle to go buy another, even if it is for your son. I like my X a lot but if I had the wherewithal you seem to, I would be looking at Cayenne S myself.
