Dealer Logo

Just curious if any of you have requested the dealership you are purchasing from not to put their logo sticker/decal etc. on your new X?

Yes. I have also asked them to not put on there License plate surrounds when switching plates.

Not explicitly, but the written instructions to them were "Do not wash, do not wax, do not detail, do not drive prior to customer pick up"

I like that line very much and will use it next rodeo.

to OP - absolutely I cannot believe when I see people driving around with dealership billboards on their cars. Tell them you do not want any of that nonsense, they won't give you any hassle.

I keep my bracket on because it's kind of funny---mine is from "World Famous Beverly Hills BMW". I like the World Famous part .

I made a point (i.e. in writing) of instructing the dealer that no dealer advertising on the vehicle would be accepted and if a badge was attached then delivery would not be accepted.

That is funny, especially considering that have one of the worst reputations in California. So bad, that BMW stripped them of their "Full Circle" benefits years back. Full Circle is some insider BMW reward program for highly rated dealers. Also, the 4-5 BMW dealers we have around our house, will not do dealer trade deals with BMW Beverly Hills. They are major a-holes. But their license plate is funny!

Yeah I don't know much obviously about their history and happy with my dealer here in Dallas but the sales guys there were easy to deal with and I got a way better price/deal that I could find with any other dealer. My married buddies said keep that bracket on as it will "cast a big net" of single girls ;).

On the '01 X and the '02 Vette I made it clear No Logo/Sticker/lic bracket, etc.
No prob...

On theCEO's '10 Tucson, they sneaked a small logo on the back...she doesn't
care, and neither do I.
